The inception of Kingdom of God
Outreach Ministries, Inc began
in February 2007 as an “Open House”
prayer meeting/bible study in the home
of the founders, Pastor Matthew and
Prophetess Julia Spann.  Pastor Spann
and Prophetess Spann have a desire to
reach out to lost souls who are searching
for a better life and upon the call of God,
through prayer before the ministry begin,
Pastor Spann received the name,
Kingdom of God.

Pastor Matthew Spann

Senior Pastor

Pastor Matthew Spann serves as the Senior Pastor of Kingdom of God Outreach Ministries, Inc. located at 5424 North Main St.
Pastor Spann and his wife, Julia are the founders of Kingdom of God Outreach Ministries, Inc. which was birthed in the “sunroom” of their home in 2007. When the small “sunroom” began to fill, a place was sought after so that the people of God would have a place to fellowship. After much prayer, a search was made within the schools to hold services. Because of the favor of God bestowed upon their first deacon employed at one of the schools, Pastor Spann moved his congregation to Pine Estates Elementary School and subsequently to Garden City Elementary School. The church is currently located at its present address.
Kingdom of God Outreach Ministries is a church that is on the move. For more than a decade, alternately each month on the second Friday and the second Sunday, Pastor Spann was found at City Rescue Mission bringing a life changing message to the homeless. Pastor Spann has a heart for those who are without and teaches the people of God to reach out to those who are less fortunate. Every week, hundreds of families are being provided for with natural bread by means of KOGOM “bread” ministry. Most recently, a food pantry was opened once a week to provide food for those who are in need in the community. The pastor’s vision for the church is to provide and minister to the “total” man. Pastor Spann’s statement, “We are known more among the “homeless”, than among church people.” Matthew 6: 33,” But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (KJV), is one of Pastor Spann’s much-loved verses of scripture.
Pastor Spann is a graduate of Wando High School. He attended Manpower Skills Center and Trident Technical College. He was licensed and ordained to preach the gospel in 1996 under the tutelage of Bishop Malcolm Carter and Dr. J. Renee Carter.
Pastor Spann is married to Prophetess Julia Spann and they have been blessed with four children, three sons, Antonio, Kenneth, Evander and one daughter, Santanna Walker. They have six wonderful and adorable grandchildren; two granddaughters and four grandsons.

• That the Bible is inspired, without error, and the infallible word of God.
• That the Bible should be literally and dispensationally interpreted
• That God reveals himself as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
• That Jesus Christ is the only begotten son, the eternal word, and God manifest in flesh
• That the Holy Spirit is God, the spirit of truth, and not merely a force
• That Adam and Eve were created morally upright, but after the fall all men are born sinners

• That salvation is received through faith, by grace and without works
• That there is a literal Heaven, Hell, and Lake of Fire
• That water baptism is to be performed by immersion in water and in the name of Jesus
• That there will be a time of Great Tribulation and the wrath of God upon the earth.
• That Jesus Christ will return to rule upon the earth for a period of one thousand years.

• That there are various ministries of the Holy Spirit (i.e., filling, indwelling, baptism with, anointing of, sealing and divers gifts)
• That prophesy, healing, speaking in tongues, and other Spiritual gifts and signs are still being manifested
• That Jesus Christ died, was buried, and arose from the dead.
• That every believer receives the Holy Spirit upon salvation and there can be no salvation without having the Holy Spirit indwelling the believer.
